Attorney Brandy D. Douglas is a native of Denison, Texas. She attended the University of North Texas where she earned her Bachelor of Arts in Journalism, then the University of Texas at Dallas where she earned her Master of Arts in Constitutional Law. Finally she earned her Doctor of Jurisprudence at Texas Southern University's Thurgood Marshall School of Law, Class of 2018. She was licensed by the Texas Bar the same year.
After working for a large family law firm in Houston for two years, she spent the next two and a half years as an Assistant District Attorney gaining invaluable trial skills and trial experience.
Ms. Douglas represents clients charged with all types of crimes, felonies, and misdemeanors, in the counties of Grayson, Collin, and Dallas. She also represents individuals who have been hit and hurt in accidents, as well as those experiencing family law related issues.
Ms. Douglas has taught at Texas Southern University in the School of Public Affairs. Her public service includes organizing community groups, advocating issues of voter’s registration, and blood donations. She serves as a member of the City of Denison’s Community Development Block Grant Committee. She is currently a member of the NAACP – Grayson County Branch, and Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Incorporated.
Brandy is mother to Madison Broadway and enjoys spending time with her family, and watching Madison as she transforms into different characters on stage.
